concrete drawing 3 - first colour

with all our foam in place we are ready to go when the cement truck arrived in the morning.

as the artwork is so large we have a plank set across it so we can access all parts of it

 

the concrete is a dark blue colour, and we get set straight away tapping it in and around the foam

 

our friends kumi and john help, partly because the drawing is so big, partly because i have a broken wrist.

 

just over an hour later and we are done the first colour.
