a little while ago i planted five different kinds of potatoes.
four of them are still growing.
in the image above there are two kinds of potatoes.
one kind has a very large plant the other the plant is keeping on the smallish side.
i am not sure how you know when a potato plant is done ready to be harvested.
one of the five groups of potato plants i had growing died. out of curiosity i dug up where the plants were and i found my first pathetic potatoes.
they are not as large and wonderful as i would have thought but i guess for my first attempt it is not too bad. honestly the largest one in the image above is only 7 cm long.
i will cook them up though and enjoy them, and fingers crossed the remaining potatoes in the ground are busy growing bigger and i will be able to show off my amazing potatoes next time.

they're cut potatoes. i am sure they will get bigger with time. when you come home from os they will be huge!!!
