TAR

tar is a group exhibition that i was a part of that has been on for the last month. this is the third in a series of exhibitions organised by the same person and with a bunch of local artists. the first was rust and the second was salt. tar is the third one. the idea is that the artists in the show respond to the theme, and the theme links with the local area where the show is exhibited, port adelaide.

 

i collaborated with my friend deb. we made some black diamonds from a bit of road, and tar. we also made some patches with stencils and spray paint. the gallery it was displayed in is called the black diamond gallery.

 

one diamond crumbled a bit but we think this added to the piece.

it was a great little show to be in and always fun to be creative in other materials.
