i have been reading a bit about juice fasts last year and about how great some people feel after them and decided to give it a go myself.
for the past 6 days i have been on a juice fast. nothing but water, and juiced fruits and veggies. this is me getting ready to make my juice.
i have been juicing all sorts of things, strawberries, cucumber, purple cabbage, carrots, pineapple, celery, apple, parsley, kale, spinach, lime. its great. and i have been feeling really good. i am not hungry at all, and i am sleeping really well (usually i am not such a good sleeper) and i have lost some weight, (how much who knows as we don't own scales, but i can see a difference)
borris has been fasting with me. and he is doing great as well. the goal is 8 or 10 days, not sure yet, my stomach started grumbling today but we will see. once the fast is done then there is a couple weeks of easing back into normal eating, mostly during the transition its eating mainly salads, and still juicing while slowly introducing other foods into our diets. no eating pizza right away.

its been really hot here the past week or so but things in the garden are still looking happy. and otto has decided to not attack every flower that grows in the garden, so there is even some colour in the backyard.
