a process similar to slumping is fusing. fusing is when you basically melt 2 or more compatible pieces of glass together in a kiln. for a more detailed explanation on fusing and compatibility go here.
i have not really done this before, but they offer a hands on kids class here to make a fused glass tile for your christmas tree or window.
this is mine. and i love it!
its the little things! i think i had enjoyed it because it was just for fun, but really i want to make another one.
it is one of my favorite thing i have made while being here.
