this is the finished baby quilt, that i made for some friends who are having a baby soon.
i think it is my best actual quilting (sewing of all three layers of fabric together) i have ever done. it is kind of a chevron pattern pointing towards the center of the quilt. i am getting better.
this is the back. the fabric is a hexagon pattern. i really am into hexagons right now and honeycomb patterns so when i saw this in a yellow and green colours i thought it was perfect for the backing fabric.
these are my friends at the baby shower opening the gifts. i made the quilt a bit larger than normal so hopefully when the baby grows up it can be a play blanket, or picnic blanket, and used everyday.
i really like the fabric i used for the binding, it a red fabric with black stars all over it. this fabric i thought was perfect as it reminded me of my friend who this quilt was for.

Gord didn't not want to comment, but I posted under his name which I sometimes do. So here's my real comment: I love it! It's great! Spectacular! Nice job!
