last weekend

i had a little holiday and i went to melbourne to visit a friend and to see the tim burton exhibition that is on at the acmi.

it was a fabulous exhibition, a retrospective of his whole career. if you are in melbourne before mid oct when it ends you have to go and see this show.

this is outside the gallery. i spent 2 and a half hours in the exhibition without even knowing it. it was so inspiring to see the drawings, and sketches that were the beginnings of some of my favorite movies, characters and stories. i wish i could go see it again.

and after the exhibition i found a tim burton inspired cookie to enjoy with my friend and discuss the exhibition. a perfect day.

This would be fun to see. In the beginning if his first movies, I didn't really care for his stuff...but then...something magical happened...I love him now!
