little holiday

i went on a holiday recently for 2 days with my lovely friend netters and her cute little dog ruby. it involved a 12 1/2 hour car ride, with ruby sitting on my lap for the first hour or so. it was fun. i visited with them for a day after the drive before i had to fly back home. it was short adventure but a fun one!

this is ruby.

this is netters, and this is how you know it was a holiday, our first cider for the day was enjoyed outside in the winter sun before lunch time.

more proof of the holiday, an afternoon cider, that was locally made and so yummy.

but it wasn't all fun and games, i was also there on work. i visited the gallery i am having an exhibition at next year, to meet the gallery manager, who is very nice and to check out the gallery space.

this is the part of the gallery i will be showing in. it is bigger than i expected, 5 huge walls and all the floor space in between. as you can see from these images, it looks nice sparsely filled, which is a good thing. i have a few ideas of what i might do and i hope in the coming weeks to sort that out a bit more.
