cobblestone floor

at the beginning of the week deb and i went to do a job in birdwood in the hills at the national motor museum.

they have an exhibit on over the school holidays called the enchanted car. and for this they needed a cobblestone floor.

deb and i spent the day laying the floor, setting it in place with some tape and painting the base coat.

then it was time for the leg aching task of stamping each cobblestone in place

surprisingly it went pretty quickly.

our on site work station

we were happy with the results,

and think it will look good once the car and set are in place.

the people at the museum were great to work for, and it was a fun little job to do.

this photo is from the museum fb page, you can see the floor we did with car and set in place. fun!
