puppy!

i am writing this post with a sleeping puppy keeping my lap warm.

 

this is him sleeping on his bed beside me while i am working on my computer.

 

cute! and using the bed i made him!

 

puppy is getting to know my friends, according to the book he needs to meet 100 people (with lots of men and children in that mix) in the next 4 weeks for proper socialization, but during this time he also can't go out into the world as he is not fully vaccinated yet. so lots of little puppy parties to be had.

borris and puppy in the puppy play area. the book i read about training suggests setting up this space so you give the puppy the opportunity to only do good, like chew on chew toys and toilet in toilet area. making training about positive reinforcement not punishment. it seems to be working so far, no inside accidents yet (touch wood)
