what's new?!

i have been very busy lately - which is my excuse for not blogging more recently.

i have been working a lot in my studio and really enjoying it. i am making some new work for a group show that opens in may. these are the glass pieces with paper print out of images that i will make stencils for and then sandblast into the glass. i am also thinking of adding some flocking to these too. right now i am in the middle of sandblasting which is very satisfying and boring at the same time.



i have also been so busy lately that i feel like i have neglected my garden a little bit. but my excuse is that although it looks a bit worse for wear, and run down things are still growing and fruiting so i can't put in the autumn planting just yet.



i have about 5 large butternut pumpkins in the garden, and i am just waiting for the vine to die off so i can store them for longer before picking them.

i have these little guys growing, i am not sure what they are might be a pumpkin or a gourd. not sure yet.

and these are mu first tomatillos. well they are not ready yet but i hope they mature and finish soon, before it gets too cold here for them!
