puppy!

i convinced borris that it was a good idea to get a puppy. i wanted a miniature schnauzer. they are cute, not too big, but bigger than a cat, look like old men from the start, don't shed and make great pets.

after a lot of searching to find a reputable breeder in my area i finally found one, and today borris and i went to select out puppy from the litter. they are 6 weeks old here.

there was a big litter of 8, but since we want a boy puppy, we had 4 to choose from. after about an hour of playing and being bitten and climbed all over we decided to go with the one in the light blue collar. (the third from the right in this photo, and the one on the far right in top photo)

he was pretty worn out after all that playing and eating and i am sure he needed a nap, but we snapped a few photos before putting him back with his siblings.

the cutest puppy! i can't wait to take him home in 2 weeks. then the training and socialising can begin.

this is a photo of mom, the dog on the right, she is lovely, and didn't seem to mind at all that we were playing with her young pups.

i think for a little while this blog will be over run with cute dog photos, but i will try and restrain myself!
