it has been really hot here lately. and up until now i have only had two pairs of super cheap flip-flops to wear....until last weekend when i purchased some new birkenstock sandals.
they are a bit more bold or colourful than i am used to, normally i would have chosen the all black version but the sale on these persuaded me otherwise.

that's what I'm talking about!! yeah, shoes. I just purchased little cushions for the balls of my feet to go in the wedding shoes. they are pure genious. (though not quite as bright as buying shoes that were comfortable vs. crippling)
