ok so here is a quick peak at two cane tumblers i have made. they are my favorite right now. i feel like i invented this pattern (but know it has probably been done before). basically it is a traditional twisty cane pattern but without the twist. i love the layers of line that run down the side of the cup like a drawing.
here is the first cup, the pattern is the line cane and clear cane. it is my favorite right now. seeing as i am making cups each week, it seems i might have a new favorite cup every week.
this is what it looks like when you look down into the cup. I really like this view of the lines converging at the base.
this is the second cup and my second favorite cup right now. i am inspired to try this pattern in other colours and also with a mix of colours, perhaps even a rainbow of colours, look out!
