so here is the exhibition "scenario" that i am taking part in. this is a group exhibition that showcases the glass design work by six artists , who are all coincidentally female. the idea behind the show is not only to showcase good design but to show it in a way that relates to the domestic settings that you might put these objects in once you own them.
the back wall showcases work of 4 artists, (mine on the far left), and the use of mirrors is great as it instantly doubles the amount of work you have! and you get a full sense of all the sides of the objects.
hanging above a green shag rug is a sculpture that is made up of glass components. very fun and bright this piece is called "shirley".
and finally the beautiful work on the table, just like at home. if only i could afford the glass and table it sits on... ta-da!
