tilt bike shelter install

this week the bike shelter deb and i designed is getting installed.

today i had my camera with full batteries on site. its hard to see the total design with the fence behind and the struts up as well but it is coming along.

we were happy today that it was not raining, and so were the guys installing the structure.

you can kind of see the structure in this image, there are 14 vertical poles that are positioned at various angles and held together at the top with a cross section.

the holes were dug yesterday in the mud and rain, and it is lucky that they all just didn't fill back up with mud in the rain.

this is looking up at the structure.

this is the end of the structure where the roof is at its lowest point about 2.8 meters

back at the workshop here is our bicycle graphic that will go on the perimeter fence at the end of the bike shelter. it will get installed next week, after the final concrete pad is poured.

more on the progress tomorrow!
