lots of painting

Deb and I have been busy with lots of painting the past 2 weeks at the studio.

we may have purchased a bit too much paint but we needed a variety of colours to get a good vibe for the timber covered walkway we are producing. 

we laid out some old carpet in the side lane at the studio to protect the ground. then in sections we laid out the timber in the same pattern that it will be connected to the overhead walkway. 

then we painted out sections of the timber, leaving some plain timber as well. we did this for 7 days until all the timber was painted.

the painted timbers are being stored in the shipping container next to our sandblasted slate. next week we will start fabricating the units with the painted timber that will get installed on the walkway at the end of April. stay tuned for more process shots.
