professional photographs

as promised here are some professional images of my work, taken at the photographers studio before i had any wall hanging systems in place.

they are all set up on the floor and then photographed from above, so they look like they are hanging on a wall.

the photographer usually does one straight on shot, and then a couple details or angled shots.

this session took about 4 hours to shoot

but that is not bad considering it was the whole exhibition.

i am not sure about the success of these black on black images, i might get then photographed again, because when you see them in just the right light the images are really clear.

these two larger square ones were not in my exhibition at murray bridge but in a group show up in the barossa wine region. i think at least one of these sold during the opening.

that's always a nice thing, especially when it is some new work.

i think this multi panel black on black piece looks even better on the black backing board, rather than on the plain white background.

below are the documented images of the mirrors. to make it so we could see the image we had to get rid of most of the reflection, so they don;t look like mirrors in these images, but you can see the artwork well.

my show finishes next week on dec 1 and then i take it down and get it ready to be sent interstate for another version of this show in canberra.
