since making my to scale gallery from cardboard i have been busy in the studio trying to work out what to put in the gallery. i am not sure again if this is genius or just a greater form of procrastination. i feel like i am achieving something, even if really i am not.
to do this i am making to scale models of the glass artwork i plan to make out of paper. i am also making the artworks to scale to try and get a sense of what the space will feel like when the show is installed.

so far i have committed to the back wall piece, and an installation of by badges. i have ideas for the rest of the work in the show but i am not convinced yet of the positioning and size/numbers of the pieces. tomorrow is my studio day so i hope to get some more real work done on actual glass and a bit further in my cardboard planning.
actually today is my friday, and i don't have to be back at work for 6 days!!! i am so looking forward to a chunk of solid studio time. :)

Is that a dog cut-out beside your person?
no its a small ceramic dog that tom left in the gallery for me.cute.
i don't know why but i really want to hang out in your mini gallery with the cardboard guys and the flying dog.
probably because it is 100 million times tidier than my house at the minute. it looks so peaceful (insert whistfull sighing).
Is that me in the back? I don't care if it isn't I'm claiming it as me! If the only way I can hang out with you is in cardboard form than so be it.
