why blog?

i have decided to start this blog to give myself a platform to share with others what it is i do in my studio. it will also give me the motivation to write about my work and my ideas. i read some of my friends blogs from overseas and i like the idea that people who don't live near me can see what i am up to and this way we can keep our friendships up to date. that's the plan anyways....
