the last 2 weekends

the last two weekends i have not been in the studio making work, rather i have been at a friend's place helping to make a deck. first we had to rip up the old floor as this used to be an inside room of the house and raise all the support beams up 55mm so the new deck would sit just under the bottom of the doorway frame. this first part took 4 of us all day to complete and included sinking in 4 posts as we were also extending out the deck by 1 meter but it was great fun.
